Mohit Sehrawat qualified for JUDO- Junior World Championship

Mohit Sehrawat of Jagran School of Sports Science & Physical Education, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal has been qualified for the JUDO – Junior World Championship.

He will be representing India in the Judo Championship scheduled to happen in Italy from 6th to 10th October. He will participate in the 81 KG Category.

Mohit Sehrawat says – ” It is an honour to get a chance to represent my country at an international platform. I could only do it because of the kind of support I received from my well-wishers. Jagran school of sports science and physical education at Jagran Lakecity University made sure that I get all the support needed for this sports Competition and able to continue with my studies too. “

Mohit Sehrawat had also qualified for the World University Games, 2021 which were planned to held at Chengdu (China) from 18th – 29th August, 2021. (But due to Covid reasons the Games got cancelled).

The results of the Junior World Championship representation was declared after the Open Selection Trial for Junior Men and Women organized at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi from 9th to 11th September, 2021.
