TOI | Rajasthan United FC to practise at JLU ground

Bhopal: Rajasthan United FC (RUFC) of the I League has announced that Bhopal’s JLU football ground will be its home turf for practice before they embark on their I-League campaign in March 2022 at Kolkata. The team has also begun practise at the venue and has released its new jersey. The Spanish coach of RUFC Francesc Bonet Caruncho said, “We need more youth competitions to identify talent, offer them a pathway and develop coaching. We are very excited to be part of this initiative and have thoroughly enjoyed outstanding football facilities and environment at JLU.” Addressing the press conference, JLU pro-chancellor Abhishek Mohan Gupta said, “Our endeavour is to promote and encourage football in central India and trigger this passion for the game. We have decided to bring RUFC to Madhya Pradesh. We are launching the Elite Athlete Development Programme to ensure that every football talent gets a chance. This goal is very ambitious but we are highly motivated and focused.”
